Performansi Mesin Pengkondisian Udara Hibrida Dengankondensor Dummy Tipe Trombonecoil menggunakan Diameter Pipa Tembaga Berbeda Sebagai Water Heater
The hybrid air conditioning systems can improve the energy efficiency by recovering waste heat of condenser that can be useful for various purposes.There are many experimental studies about this system which aimed to investigate and improve the performance. This experimental study aims to invesigate the performance of hybrid air conditioning machine using different diameters which are 1/4″ and 3/8″ of dummy condenser with the same coil type and length. Methods of this research are experimental and comparative. The experimental method is used to test the system performance using 1/4″ diameter of dummy condenser. Then, the test result is used the other method for compare the performance characteristics with 3/8″ diameter coil from the previous research. The result shows that compressor power drops to 9.01 % using 1/4″ coil to 3/8″, where cooling capacity and COP using 1/4″ coil also drop to 3/8″ coil at each of cooling load and valve opening. Hot water temperatures are obtained at 42.32 to 47.3 °Cwith 120 minutes of operations which is still enough for bathing and hand washing purposes.
