Pengaruh Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Pramuka Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Disiplin Siswa SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru
Teaching and learning activities involving several components, namely learners, teachers (educators), learning objectives, subject content, teaching methods, media and evaluation. The role of schools as institutions that help the family environment, the school betugas educate and teach and improve and refine the behavior of the students who were taken from their families. Coaching extracurricular activities certainly can cultivate discipline students through scouting activities. This activity is intended to broaden students' knowledge, increase skills and make students behave good. Students must have a high discipline, because discipline is one of support to the success of learning and support to exemplary. However, in reality there are still many students who violate the rules and regulations that have been made by the school.
Based on the description of the background, then the formulation of the problem in this research is How the influence of extra-curricular activities Scouting for disciplinary character formation of students of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the effect of extracurricular activities on the formation of character Scouting student discipline SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. That is the subject in this study were all students of class X and XI SMAN 5 Pekanbaru that follow ektrakurikuler scout, totaling 40 students, the class X numbered 25 people and students of class XI numbered 15 people. In setting the sample using Rendom Sampling (random number) that is 10% of 40 students to 35 students. Data gathered through observation, questionnaires, interviews and technical literature. In analyzing the data using quantitative descriptive technique using a statistical test.
The results showed that there was a significant effect between extracurricular activities scout with the formation of the student discipline code can be seen from the calculation results of data analysis. Planting process discipline through ektrakurikuler scout character quite effective. Test data analysis using simple linear regression produces "F" count equal to 1.70. F count larger than F table with a significance of 5% was 0.03. So filing hypothesis is accepted. Based on the above analysis test can be concluded that cultivation of character scout discipline through extracurricular activities can be used as an alternative in helping students to improve student discipline code.
