Analisis Model Ekonomi Rumahtangga Petani Padi Di Kecamatan Bunga Raya Kabupaten Siak

This research aims to determine dominant factors that affects to production, allocation of working time, income and expenditure of paddy farmershousehold. The data used the 2016 cross section data which obtained by interviewing 45 paddy farmers in the Bungaraya subdistrict. Econometric model of simultaneous equations approach to the Two Stage Least Square method (2SLS) was used to answer the research objectives. The result shows: Firstly, dominant factors respect to production are harvested area and cost of input production. There are no variables responsive respect production. Secondly, dominant factors respect to allocation of working time areallocation of working time on non-paddy farming, education investment, household labour force, income of paddy farming, and income of non-paddy farming. There are no variables responsive respect to allocation of working time. Thirdly, dominant factors respect to income of non-paddy farming are allocation of non paddy farming and age of farmers. There are no variables responsive respect to income of non paddy farming. Fourthly, dominant factors respect to household expenditure are total income, number of household member, education investment, saving, harvested area, and total consumption. Household expenditure responsive respect to total incoe, total consumption and saving. Fifthly, the simulation of dried-milled paddy price has positive impact, meanwhile the increases of wages and and price fertilizer simulation have negative impact on the household economic. Finally, the policy implication that can be taken by the government in order to improve the household economic are government intervention to determine competitive price of output and to stabilize cost of input production.
