Formulasi Sabun Scrub Kopi Ber-Ph Balance

The soap is known as the body care part resulting from the saponification reaction between oil and alkali. Coffee scrub soap is one of the emulsion preparations that function as a conductor of the benefits of coffee to the skin and can decrease the pH of soap. Scrub coffee is produced by adding the powder of coffee beans into the basic composition of soap making. Variations in this research include the ratio of mass between coconut oil and olive oil as a basic soap composition and variation in the amount of coffee powder, and the amount of coffee powder dissolved into 20ml water as a coffee scrub soap composition. This research is intended to obtain a formulation of coffee scrub that conform to the SNI standard with pH balance. Based on the research that has been done, the results obtained are basic soap with 30% coconut oil ratio and 70% olive oil yields the lowest free fatty acid content of 1.517%, while the basic soap with 70% coconut oil and 30% olive oil yields moisture content The lowest at 12%. From the results obtained determined the basic soap composition used is a soap with a composition ratio of 70% coconut oil and 30% olive oil. Good coffee scrub soap is soap with the addition of coffee powder 15% with pH value close to 7, water content 13.25%.
