Perancangan Antena Luar Ruangan (Outdoor) Mikrostrip Mimo Rectangular Patch 28 Ghz Untuk Jaringan Komunikasi Nirkabel 5g.
In this research, rectangular microstrip patch antenna with 56 irradiating elements, MIMO 2x2 microstrip antenna with 112 irradiation elements, and 4x4 MIMO antennas with 224 irradiation elements using microstrip line feeding is designed for 5G wireless communications network. This antenna uses an array technique to increase the gain of the antenna. The antenna is designed and simulated using CST Microwave Studio software and operated in 28 GHz frequency range. The MIMO 4x4 rectangular patch microstrip antenna with 224 irradiation elements provides the most optimum result with bandwidth impedance of 2.01 GHz (7.17%) and reaches return loss -35.24 dB at 28.5 GHz. The gain reaches 18.5 dBi. The designed antenna shows the optimal results and meet the required 5G antenna parameters.
