Perancangan Sekolah Internasional Pekanbaru Dengan Pendekatan Eko Arsitektur
As one of the fastest developing city, Pekanbaru has done a lot of international relationships with other countries in the economic field, the social field, and the politic field. These subjects also linked with education in the area, which is why aright means would be needed to facilitates education purposes in Pekanbaru city. An international school would be great for an education means that will apply international curriculum in their teaching system and has been recognized internationally and has produced graduates with international certifications. In planning of this international school, closure to planning that has been settled prioritized to Eco-architecture with hopes that the building that is designed to be green and helpful in building an eco-friendly towards the surrounding area. But to direct this plan towards a more specific concept, it has been decided that the concept that will be used is “holistic” which is a mixture of ecology design planning criteria. Holistic in ecology design is directed more towards the principals of: 1) energy efficient; 2) climate sensitive; 3) eco-friendly. This international school design fulfills the national standard curriculum and educational infrastructure. This will allow the establishment of International School that concurs to ecological architecture principle.
