The high demand for energy in Indonesia, especially in the world at large continues to increase from time to time , in fact, become one of the major problems when reserves of conventional energy sources (fossil energy) become more limited and we have to reduce the level of pollution . Therefore , the need to develop renewable energy has become a key demand of the age. One such energy is a mechanical sewing machine as an energy source for the generator prime movers .
In this modern age already , the use of mechanical sewing machines are not used for other purposes , can only be used for sewing clothes . In this thesis the author tried to implement and apply the theory of energy conversion to electricity by memenfaatkan sewing machine as prime movers (mechanical energy) then the generator converts the mechanical energy into electrical enrergi . where the electrical energy produced by the generator used for charging the battery .
