Potensi Tanaman Meranti (Shorea Spp.) Dan Mersawa (Anisoptera Spp.) Di Hutan Lindung Sentajo Kecamatan Sentajo Raya Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

Sentajo Protected Forest has various types of plants that can be used as raw material for making the path, one of them is Shorea spp. and Anisoptera spp.. The wood used as raw material for the path taken from Sentajo Protected Forest is Shorea spp. and Anisoptera spp. That have met the criteria that have been determined, so the availability of the plant is decreasing, because the crop is not accompanied by planting. This study aims to determine the availability of Shorea spp. and Anisoptera spp. In Sentajo Protected Forest District Sentajo Raya Regency of Kuantan Singingi. Technique of taking data is done by random sampling by using transect method consisting of 3 lane and each lane consist of 5 plot which measuring 100 x 100 meter with total amount is 15 plot. The data of the research were analyzed using Microsoft Office Excel. Availability of Shorea spp. More than Anisoptera spp. That is 70 stems. The result of this research showed that 3 species of Shorea spp. Were Shorea Brachteolata, Shorea leprosula and Shorea Acuminata, while for Anisoptera spp. Were not found because Still small. The results showed that in Sentajo Protected Forest for tree level the availability of Shorea spp. was 70 stems and for Anisoptera spp. was not found. Shorea spp. potency in Sentajo Protected Forest District Sentajo Raya Regency of Kuantan Singingi as many as 1400 stems.
