Analisis Sistem Tataniaga Karet Pada Petani Karet Eks Upp Tcsdp Di Desa Bina Baru Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Tengah Kabupaten Kampar
This research aims to analyze the marketing channel, marketing margin, and marketing efficiency of rubber on smallholder plantation of ex-UPP TCSDP. Research also analyzes the market structure and price transmition elasticity of rubber product (ojol) at Bina Baru Village. This research is using the survey method. Data was collected on 30 smallholders rubber plantation by purposive sampling technique, 2 the village merchant, and 2 the wholesaler by snowball sampling technique. The research results shows there are two rubber marketing channels which are farmers - coperation – wholesalers - factory, and farmers - village merchant – wholesaler - factory. The value of marketing margin on the first marketing channel as Rp. 6.835,00, and is more efficient than the second marketing channel (45,57 percent). The market structure of rubber product at the level of village merchant is dominant company with the concentration ratio (CR) 55,6 percent, while the market structure at the level of wholesaler is dominant firm with concentration ration (CR) is 65,1 percent. Result is also show that the price transmission from factory to farmer level is fast, with the value of the price transmission elasticity is 0.457 percent.
