Pengaruh Variasi Aktivasi Koh Pada Elektroda Karbon Dari Tempurung Kelapa Terhadap Sifat Fisis Dan Sifat Elektrokimia Superkapasitor
Production of carbon electrode supercapacitor made from coconut shell carbon has been demonstrated used spraying method. The Increment of porosity parametry was developed by KOH activation variations of KTK 1 sample, KTK 2, and KTK 3. Measurement physical nature of carbon powder used N2 gas absorption method is to measure specific surface area, scanning electron microscopy to saw morphology structure, X-ray diffraction for the structure of crystallinity, and energy X-ray dispersive for the content of the element. CV UR-Rad ER 5841 tool was to measure capacitive properties of supercapacitor. Measurement physical nature is to measure KTK 1 and KTK 3 sample. The results of this research showed, specific surface area by N2 gas adsorption method was 158.815 m2/g for KTK 1 sample and 200.095 m2/g for KTK 3 sample. The results of scanning electron microscopy showed the color of KTK 3 sample is lighter than KTK 1 sample. The result of XRD characterization for KTK 1 and KTK 3 sample has an amorphous structure. The percentage of carbon content of KTK 1 sample was 92.82% and KTK 3 was 90.23%. The result of measurement electrochemical with cyclic voltammetry method was produced specific capacitance value of 0.54 F/g for KTK 1 sample, 0.63 F/g for KTK 2 and 2.4 F/g for KTK3. Based on all the measurement indicated that the physical nature and electrochemical nature of super capacitor electrode was strongly influenced by concentration of material activator.
