Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Huruf Melalui Permainan Lotto Huruf Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Tk Tunas Harapan Sorek Satu Kecamatan Pangkalan Kuras Kabupaten Pelalawan
This research aimed to increasing ability to know about the letter through Lotto
Letter games for children age 4-5 years in TK Tunas Harapan Sorek Satu of Pangkalan
Kuras Subdistrict of Pelalawan Regency. The subject of this research are 12 children in
group A of TK Tunas Harapan Sorek Satu, there are 5 son and 7daughter. The method of
this research is Classroom Action Research conducted as muchas 2 cycle, in each cycle
consist 4 stages namely planning, implementation of action,observation, and reflection.
This research used observation and documentation as thedata retrieval techniques. And the
data analysis techniques for this research by usedescriptive comparative that compare
cycle I to the next cycle, and withdrawal theconclusion with critical analysis. Based on the
data analysis, known that the average of children’s ability to know the letters before the
Cycle is 36.67% with “Begin to Develop” criteria. After the games Lotto Letter in Cycle I,
the children’s ability increase until 46.67% with “Begin to Develop” criteria, while the
average of Cycle II is 71.25% with “Developed According to Expectation” criteria. It
means that Lotto Letter games can increasing the ability to know the letters for children
age 4-5 years in TK Tunas Harapan Sorek Satu of Pangkalan Kuras Sub District of
Pelalawan Regency.
