Counseling in the context of education pertanain is a special kind of problem solving, action-oriented teaching something, modernize, motivate, and teach something means action could be interpreted as an effort to provide knowledge to people to do things that are unfamiliar and new. These numbers show that the rate of production of paddy in the district of Sabak Auh declining and needs to be increased back. how communication outreach should be a step and an important role in agricultural programs.
This study uses qualitative research method descriptive presentation with purposive technique. In collecting the data the researcher used interview, observation and documentation. Informants in this study of 10 people consisting of the Head of Department of Agriculture, Head of the Executive Agency Education, Implementation of Agricultural Extension, Head of Agricultural Extension District of Sabak Auh, Acting District of Sabak Auh Agricultural Extension and Farmers District of Sabak Auh.
The results of this study indicate that agricultural extension communication in the district of Sabak Auh needs to be increased again, which occurred less than the maximum communication as evidenced by interviews of farmers that farmers are not getting the maximum extension of the agricultural problems. The method used in this extension using a method based on a team approach. Method is considered more effective team approach allows for feedback and interaction of groups that provide opportunities to exchange experiences and influence on the attitudes and norms on its members. Factors inhibiting the extension communication is internal factor enables the resistance of the extension itself, problems such as the lack of competence of extension, which is less than the maximum extension communication, outreach programs, and resources are lacking counseling.
