Peran Dinas Pendidikan Kota Pekanbaru Dalam Menanggulangi Anak Putus Sekolah Pada Tingkat Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar Tahun 2012-2015
The Education City of Pekanbaru as part of the system of government City of Pekanbaru policy practitioners and technical education staff have the responsibility and authority to improve the quality of education in the City of Pekanbaru. The phenomenon of students dropping out of school that they are actually very want to go back to school as usual. But because of the problems of economic factors from their parents so that they had to do not continue school. And they were the parents of course did not expect his son drop out of school. But because the situation is not quite impossible that the economic problems they had to slash his son to go to school. Now the formulation of the problem of this research is : How the role of the Education City of Pekanbaru in tackling the children dropping out of school level education elementary school years 2012-2015? Data analysis methods used in this research is a qualitative descriptive analysis method that is attempting to expose the based on the existing phenomena and browse all the facts related to the issues discussed based on the results of research is the role of the Education City of Pekanbaru in tackling the children dropping out of school level education elementary school year 2012-2015.
The results of the study says the role of the Education City of Pekanbaru in tackling the children dropping out of school level education elementary school years 2012-2015 on input indicator (s input) program that has been implemented is the School Operational Assistance (BOS), Scholarship and poor students Assistance Program (BSM). Output indicator (outputs) form of the assistance provided is intended to help ease the burden of the students in the studied basis. Result Indicators (outcomes) The Education City of Pekanbaru has a role in the maximum attempts to cope with the children dropping out of school especially on the level of basic education. Benefits indicator (Benefit) the BOS funds received by each school is not the same amount and the allocation of the BOS funds for poor students is restricted in number, because the funds used for the purpose of educational activities in the school unless the scholarship and BSM received 100 percent by the students concerned. Impact indicator (According) due to weak supervision from the Education City of Pekanbaru on the management of the BOS funds until there is an indication of the misuse of the BOS funds.
