Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Huruf Melalui Permainan Pancing Huruf Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di PAUD Pandu Pertiwi Sungai Laut Kecamatan Tanah Merah Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
Research conducted by the writer took the location in PAUD Pandu Pertiwi Sungai Laut Tanah Merah Subdistrict. The time of the research will be conducted in March to July 2017. Type of research used is Classroom Action Research. Classroom action research is a research conducted by teachers in their own class through self-reflection with the aim of improving their performance as teachers, so that students' learning outcomes become increasing. The subjects of this study were students in PAUD Pandu Pertiwi Laut Laut Tanah Merah Sub-district Indragiri Hilir Regency amounted to 12 people, men 5 children, women 7 children. The data collection method used in this research is directly observe the children to improve the ability to recognize the letters by using the game of fishing letters. Data analysis used in this research is qualitative-quantitative descriptive data analysis. According to Vienna Sanjaya (2009), data analysis is the process of processing and interpreting the data with the aim of occupying various information in accordance with its function so that it has a clear meaning and meaning. Qualitative data analysis is used to determine the improvement of the process stated in a predicate, so that quantitative data analysis is used to determine the improvement of the result by using the percentage. Qualitative analysis in this research is expressed in a predicate that refers to the statement of state and size of the quality so that the results of the assessment of the letters are then converted into a predicate. In this study, researchers used the predicate BB (Not Developed), MB (Beginning), BSH (Growing Up Expectations), BSB (Flourishing Very Good) which is then described. The result of Cycle I Research meeting 1 on the indicator recognizes symbols of letters amount of value 24 with percentage 50% enter in MB category, on indicator to write letters A-Z the amount of value 22 with percentage of 45.83% entered in the category of MB and on the indicator pronounce the letter A-Z the number of values 23 with percentage 47.92% entered in the category MB. Cycle I meeting 2 on indicator recognize symbols letter number of value 28 with percentage 58.33% enter in category of BSH, on indicator write letter AZ amount 28 value with percentage 58,33% enter in BSH category and at indicator pronouncing AZ number the value of 26 with the percentage of 54.17% entered in the category of BSH. number of value 35 with percentage 72,92% entered in category of BSH, on
indicator write letter AZ amount of value 32 with percentage 66,67% go in BSH
category and at indicator pronouncing AZ number of value 32 with a percentage
of 66.67% entered in the BSH category. The result of Cycle II Research meeting 1
on the indicators recognize the symbols of the number of values of 40 with the
percentage of 83.33% entered in the category of BSB, the indicator to write the
letters AZ the amount of 38 points with 79.17% percentage entered in the
category of BSB and the indicator to speak letters AZ number of grades 36 with
75% percentage entered in the BSB category. The second cycle of meeting 2 on
the indicator recognizes the symbols of the letter of the value of 48 with 100%
percentage entered in the category of BSB, on the indicator to write the letters AZ
the amount of value 40 with 83.33% percentage entered in the category of BSB
and on the indicator pronouncing the number AZ score 37 with 77.08%
percentage entering in MB category. Cycle II Meeting 3 on indicator recognizes
symbols letter number of value 48 with 100% percentage enter in BSB category,
on indicator to write AZ number 46 value with percentage 95,83% go in BSB
category and on indicator pronouncing AZ number 42 value with 80.70%
percentage entering in BSB category. From the calculation of the analysis can be
seen that the increase that occurred in the cycle I is equal to 67%. From the
calculation of data analysis, the increase that occurred from pre cycle to cycle II
was 92%. Here it is seen that the increase is quite significant and does not need to
be continued in cycle III.
