Pengaruh Total Quality Management Terhadap Kinerja Manajerial Melalui Kepemimpinan Pada PT. PLN (Persero) Wilayah Riau & Kepulauan Riau

This research was done with the purpose to test the hypothesis TQM (Total Quality Management) on Managerial Performance through Leadership in PT PLN (Persero) Riau Regions and Riau Islands (WRKR). Human dependence on electricity, performance of PLN WRKR as a miniature of electrical performance in Sumatra, the occurrence of recurrent electrical problems in every years make the base of this research was done in PLN WRKR. Research Gap of this research means to improve previous research in terms of respondents’ accuracy and data availability. For accuracy of hypothesis testing that related to leadership, all respondents should be at the structural level, while data availability of Managerial Performance is not done with correspondence but using data of Managerial Performance of PLN. This research was done on all units in the work area of PLN WRKR, which amounted 30 units of rayon that spread in Riau Province and Riau Islands. The research variables are TQM, leadership and managerial performance. The data of managerial performance use secondary data, while TQM and leadership use primary data. Respondents who become the research are employees who are at the structural level. The number of respondents are 120 structural employees with 120 questionnaires that distributed. The method of data collection that used is Field Research which obtained from the first part (primary data). The result of the research give the conclusion that TQM give an influence 0,464 to leadership quality, for managerial performance influenced by TQM amounted to 0,747, leadership quality has a positive influence amounted to 0,804 for managerial performance, and TQM give significant positive influence for managerial performance through leadership on PLN WRKR.
