Pengawasan Perizinan Depot Air Minum Di Kecamatan Singingi Hilir Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

The business of refill drinking water depot is present in the community as a small industry effort in fulfilling daily drinking water needs. The requirements for drinking water depots are Keputusan Menteri Perindustian dan Perdagangan No.651/MPP/Kep/2004, that drinking water depots are required to have Industrial Registry (TDI) and drinking water test reports produced from water quality inspection laboratories from Dinas Kesehatan District / Municipal Government or accredited. However, in the subdistrict of Singingi Hilir there are still many drinking water depots without commercial permit (TDI) from the Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Trade and Industry of Kuansing Regency, or even have only water quality inspection permit from Dinas Kesehatan. The purpose of this research is to know the supervision and the factors that influence the supervision of permit of drinking water depot in downstream singingi subdistrict.
The method used through qualitative descriptive research approach, with data collection techniques include observation, interviews, study documentation related to research objectives. The research instrument refers to the supervision theory proposed by Brantas (2009). Types of data in this study consisted of primary and secondary data, primary data obtained through interviews with research informants, while secondary data obtained through observation of the object of research and study documentatio.
The result of the research shows that the supervision done by Cooperative, Small, Medium, Trade and Industry Office with Health Office of Kuansing District to the requirements of permit drinking water depot business has not run optimally. Where, the assessment of business licensing of drinking water depots focused on the licensing process by the applicant for permission of drinking water depots in each intansi (Department of Cooperatives, Small, Medium Enterprises, Trade and Industry, and Kuansing District Health Office). Periodic checking of business requirements is limited to the applicant for the drinking water depot, and a portion of the drinking water depot located on the main road in Singingi Hilir subdistrict or examination has not been conducted thoroughly.
