Implementasi Program Adiwiyata Di SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru
Adiwiyata has a sense as a good and ideal place where can be obtained all the science and various norms and ethics that can be the basis of human kind towards the creation of the welfare of our lives and toward the ideals of sustainable development. The objective of the Adiwiyata program is to realize responsible school children in the effort to protect and manage the environment through good school governance to support sustainable development. SMPN 20 Pekanbaru has a high level of awareness and also participative of all school citizens in protecting the environment. So also with work programs that are run with as much as possible to provide satisfactory results for school residents.
The purposes of this research were to find out the implementation of adiwiyata program and to find out the factors which influence the implementation of adiwiyata program. This research using the implementation theory concept which is stated by Tachjan. This research also using qualitative approach by the collecting interview datas technique, observation and documentation.
Based on the results of research through interviews and observations, it can be seen that the implementation ofadiwiyata program in SMPN 20 has been optimal. This is assessed based on the achievement of the work program of the adiwiyata program indicator, namely Development of Aspects of School Policy with Environmental Understanding, Development of Environment Based Curriculum, Development of Participatory Based Activities, Management and Development of Environment-Friendly School Support Facilities and Infrastructure. Target group that has been in accordance with the target is with the program adiwiyata show changes and improvements for schools and all school residents. As well as the implementing elements who already understand the policies of the adiwiyata program and work together in implementing the four program indicators in accordance with the guide book of the adiwiyata program. The factors affecting the implementation of the adiwiyata program in SMPN 20 Pekanbaru are the means, the participation of all the citizens of the school and the budget fund.
