Hubungan Antara Motivasi Kerja Dan Kompensasi Dengan Kinerja Kepala Sekolah Di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Siak
This study aims to knowing the relationship between work motivation and compensation with the headmasters job performance in State Junior High School Siak District. The sample in this study is the headmasters of 40 respondents spread across SMP Negeri from 14 districts in Siak District. The sampling technique uses proportionate stratified random sampling.
Technique data analysis using simple correlation technique, multiple correlation, simple regression and multiple regression to see the relation between work motivation and compensation with headmasters performance in State Junior High School of Siak Regency.
The results showed that work motivation and compensation have a significant relationship to the headmasters job performance. Work Motivation (X1) contributed 60.70% to the headmasters job performance (Y). Compensation (X2) contributed 62.00% to the headmasters job performance. (Y). While jointly work motivation (X1) and compensation (X2) give a very significant contribution, that is equal 70,2% to the headmasters job performance (Y) of State Junior High School of Siak Regency. It is necessary to maintain work motivation and pay attention to adequate compensation for the headmasters, as it provides a positive impetus to the job performance improvement of the headmasters.
