The utilization of electrical energy must be done efficiently. To find out the profile of the use of electrical energy in a building, it is necessary to conduct an electrical energy audit activity in the building with the aim of finding the intensity of electric energy consumption and looking for the opportunity to make the usage more effective and efficient. One of these energy audit activities is conducted in Building C Faculty of Engineering University of Riau, where from the results of this energy audit activity obtained by the intensity of electric energy consumption in Building C Faculty of Engineering University of Riau for non-AC room that is 2.34 Kwh / m2/ month included in criteria tends not efficient and 9.40 Kwh / m2 / month for air conditioned rooms including efficient keriteria. Based on research that has been done that most of room in Building C Faculty of Engineering University of Riau have tempratur and intensity of lighting under standard value. The efficiency of electrical energy in Building C Faculty of Engineering, University of Riau can be improved by using energy saving lamp, routine air conditioning treatment and also apply energy saving culture in Building C Faculty of Engineering University of Riau.
