Adsorpsi Logam Cu Menggunakan Adsorben Serat Daun Nenas Teraktivasi Hcl
Cu metal is one of the environmental pollutant parameters that have the potential to damage the human physiology system and other biological systems such as can cause liver damage. Recognizing the enormous threat posed by Cu metals, the Cu metals are reduced using the adsorption method. Adsorption is adsorbat adsorption on the contact surface of the adsorbent. In this study, pineapple fiber fibers were used directly without converting pineapple fiber to carbon (carbon). Pineapple leaf fibers was activated using 0.1N HCl solution and used as an adsorbent against Cu metal. In this study observed the effect of adsorbent mass and stirring speed on the adsorption efficiency of Cu metal using activated pineapple leaves The adsorption results were analyzed by atomic absorption spectroscopy. The results showed that pineapple leaf fiber activated with 0.1 N HCl solution can be used as adsorbent to absorb Cu metal with the highest adsorption efficiency obtained at 0.75 gram pineapple fiber mass with 175 rpm stirring speed of 99.9% while time the balance of Cu metals adsorption at 40 minutes.
