Hubungan Durasi Tidur Terhadap Pertumbuhan Anak Bawah Tiga Tahun
Toddler has start interact and recognize around so that reduced their break time and it will influence their growth. This study aims to determine the relationship of sleep to the growth of children under three years. This research uses descriptive design with prospective approach. The study was conducted in Kelurahan Tanjung Rhu with 89 samples of children using proporsional random sampling technique. The measuring instruments used were questionnaires for demographic data and observation sheet to assess the sleep duration of children. The analysis used was univariate analysis to know the frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using Chi-Square. Result of this research indicate that from 89 toddlers, toddlers who having good sleep duration is 48 children (53.9%) and toddlers who have bad sleep duration is 41 children (46.1%). Toddler who have normal growth (BB / TB) is 57 children (64.0%), toddlers who short (TB / U) is 32 children (36.0%),the growth (BB / U) which dominant good nutrition is 68 children (76.4%). The result statistical test of sleep duration to growth (TB / U) got p value (0.000) < ɑ (0,05) so it can be concluded there is relation between sleep of duration to growth (TB / U), statistical test of sleep duration to growth (BB / TB) with p value (1,000) and growth (BB / U) with p value (0,280) so it can be concluded there is no relation between sleep duration to growth (BB / TB) and growth (BB / U).
