Perbedaan Perkembangan Anak yang Mendapat ASI Ekkslusif dan Non Eksklusif Pada Usia 6 Bulan
Diabetes mellitus is a disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels caused by insulin secretion failureness or inadequate use of insulin. To prevent the occurrence of complications of diabetes mellitus need to be controlled blood glucose levels comprehensively. The aims of this reseach was to determine the effectiveness dhikr therapy on blood glucose levels in people with diabetes mellitus type II. The design of this research was quasy experiment designed by non equivalent control group. The research was conducted in the work area of Rejosari Health Center. The total sample were 34 respondents who fit the inclusion criteria and chosen by purposive sampling, which was divided into 17 experimental group respondents and 17 respondents control group. Measuring instrument that used was observation sheet of blood glucose level measured using a glucometer. The analysis used is univariate analysis to know the frequency distribution and bivariate using dependent t test and independent t test. The mean blood glucose level of the experimental group before dhikr therapy was 175.65 mg/dl and after being given dhikr therapy twice daily for three consecutive days decreased to 167.06 mg/dl. Statistical test results showed decreased blood glucose levels significantly with p value (0.001) < α (0.05). It is concluded that dhikr therapy can lower blood glucose levels effectively in people diabetes mellitus with type II. The result is expected to be one of the nursing intervention to diabetes mellitus type II patient’s blood glucose level decrease.
