Strategi Penanganan Persimpangan Jalan Ditinjau Dari Aspek Teknis Dan Ekonomis (Studi Kasus Jalan Soekarno Hatta - Jalan Kaharudin Nasution Kota Pekanbaru)
The purpose of this study is to provide an alternative intersection
handling strategy based on existing traffic data, by projecting the state of
the intersection for short, medium and long term whether the degree of
saturation has crossed the DS threshold = 0.80. If DS is> 0.80, we will
examine some alternatives of technical and economical intersection
strategy so that the intersection service level will remain optimal from
technical and economic point of view. Data collection method used in this
research is traffic counting method, while for alternative assessment of
technical crossover handling using MKJI 1997 method, economically using
LAPI ITB method, time value analysis with time value of result of DGH
Director and analysis of investment cost with analysis Benefit Cost Ratio
and Net Present Value. In addition, geometric analysis methods are used
to project the average Daily Traffic (LHR).
From the research based on the existing survey data shows the
average DS value is 0.71, this means that the service level of the
intersection is still below the saturation limit of DS 0.8 in the fifth year. From 3 alternative management of
intersection offered only alternative to 3 which yield value of DS
