Abstract:The problem in this research is not yet performance in playing basketball on male team of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru, which is caused by the unequal mastery of fundamental technique's skill in playing basketball.The purpose is to determine level or ranking of fundamental technique’s skill in playing basketball on male team of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. This research when viewed from the approach according to the emergence of variables then this type of research is non-experimental, with the model of development of one-shot model, the model approach that uses one-time data collection at a time. The sample in this study amounted to 12 people, obtained by using the total sampling technique of the male team population of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru . Instruments in this research are tests bounce wall balls, dribble tests, and tests shoot the ball into the basket. Sampling technique conducted with a total sampling, totaling 12 players from male team of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru.As the results of this research usingwith descriptive analysis percentage, researcher finds conclution that is no player who categorized very well, 6 players (50%) well categorized, 6 players (50%) enough categorized, 0 player medium categorized, 0 player less categorized, 0 player less so categorized, and 0 player very less once categorized. Thus the overall of the sample of 12 playerthe average value of fundamental technique’s skill in playing basketball on male team of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru was 189.3, so it can be concluded the fundamental technique’s skill in playing basketball on male team of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaruin the category enough.
