Abstract: This study aims is to determine whether there is a contributions of bicep power with the outcome of shot put in orthodox style on a male students of SMP Negeri 2 Rupat, Rupat, Bengkalis District. This research form is a correlation study, the population of this study are a male students of grade IX A SMP Negeri 2 Rupat, Bengkalis districts, the sample of this study were male students of grade IX A SMP Negeri 2 Rupat, Rupat, Bengkalis District with the numbered of students are 17 students. From the calculation of the contribution analysis X and Y, where rtable at significant level α (0,05) = 0.482 means rhitung (0.609)> rtable (0,482), which means that the hypothesis is accepted and prove from the results that there is a contribution between bicep muscle power against shot put in orthodox style of the students of grade IX A SMP Negeri 2 Rupat, Rupat, Bengkalis District with the contributions of 37.09% and 62.91% are influenced by other factors. So it can be concluded that the contribution between (X) and (Y) or bicep power contribution with the results of shot put in orthodox style is powerful.
