Pengaruh Kompetensi Dan Kepemimpinan Visioner Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Serta Dampaknya Pada Kinerja Pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Provinsi Riau
This research was conducted at the Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Propinsi Riau. This study aims to analyze the effects caused by competence and visionary leadership on the performance directly and to analyze the indirect influence between competence and visionary leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction. The population of this study as much as 134 Civil Servants in the Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Propinsi Riau. The sampling technique was done by stratified random sampling method which produced as many as 100 Civil Servants as the research sample. The data analysis technique of this research is done by Path Analysis or path analysis using SPSS Version 20.00 software aid.
The results concluded that competence directly affects employee performance. Furthermore, competence has a positive and indirectly significant influence on employee performance through job satisfaction, visionary leadership has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, visionary leadership have positive and indirectly significant impact on employee performance through job satisfaction, and job satisfaction directly influence on employee performance.
This research recommends to the head of organization either Head of Agency or Head of Office expected to increase employee competence, and visionary leadership style and job satisfaction because it can directly improve the performance of better employee. This study also recommends that the Head of Agency or Head of Department improve the competence and visionary style of leadership with mediated by good job satisfaction because it will indirectly improve employee performance.
