Pengaruh Abu Batu Dan Dolomite Sebagai Filler Terhadap Karakteristik Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Course
The research use stone ash as a filler which can add material power of flexible favement toward destruction that caused by weather and traffic load. This research is also aimed to investigate how big the characteristic value of Marshall on the mix of rigid’s shell by using stone ash. This study conducted experiment method to get the result by using different variation of 4 % , 5% , 6% , 7% and 8% filler level toward total mix. The result of this research is that the using of stone ash filler will effect the characteristic of mix of rigid shell. The more used of rigid shell mix can cause the increasing of the stability value; in 5 % filler level of stone ash, the stability value is 1518.124 kg, in 8 % filler level of stone ash, the stability value is 1640.499 kg. Flexibility value is increase if we add stone ash filler level. By adding 14.87 % stone ash filler level. 4 % and 8% of them show that the mixing is rigid. The durability of mixing is increase if the stone ash filler level increase; the 4% of stone ash filler level has durability value amount of 91.433 % whereas the 8 % of stone ash filler level has durability value of 95.703 % with the average increase of 2.02 % key words : rigid shell mixing, stone ash, Marshall characteristic
