Aktivitas Antioksidan Dan Toksisitas Senyawa Metabolit Sekunder Dari Daun Miana (Coleus Scutellarioides)
Coleus scutellarioides is one of medicinal plants which has been used to treat various diseases in Indonesia. In this study, the fresh leaves of this species were extracted, with various solvents (methanol, ethyl acetate, dichloromethane, and n-hexane). All extracts, n-hexane fractions and pure isolated compounds (CS-H01 and CS-H02) were tested for antioxidant activity using DPPH radicals and their toxicity using the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT). The results showed that extracts that had the best antioxidant activity were dichloromethane and ethyl acetate extracts with IC50 29.26 mg/mL and 67.22 mg/mL. CS-H01 and CS-H02 crystals have IC50 values of 631,73 mg/mL and 646,435 mg/mL. The best toxicity test results were shown by n-hexane extract and dichloromethane with LC50 41.59 μg/mL and 53.93 μg/mL. All n-hexane fractions have good toxicity values with LC50
