Sintesis Dan Uji Toksisitas Senyawa Analog Kurkumin 3,5 Bis((E)-Metoksi Benziliden) -1-(2-Etil Asetat)-Piperidin-4-On
Curcumin and its analogs are important secondary metabolites. Some analog showed various biological activities including antiinflammatory, anticancer and antioxidant. This research has successfully synthesized curcumin ethyl 2 - ((3E, 5E) -3,5-bis ((E) -4-methoxy benzylidene) -4-oxopiperidine-1-yl) acetate, ethyl 2 - (( 3E, 5E) -3,5-bis ((E) -2-methoxy benzyliden) -4-oxopiperidine-1-yl) acetate and ethyl 2 - ((3E, 5E) -3,5-bis ((E) -3-methoxy benzylidene) -4-oxopiperidine-1-yl) acetate have successfully syntesized from 4-piperidone with 4-methoxy benzaldehyde using reflux with KOH (10%) as a catalyst. The compounds were obtained as crystal and yellow solids with yields of 83,01%; 68,42% and 68,41% respectively. The purity were by analysed by HPLC. Melting point of the compounds were measured. The structure of the compounds were elucidated with UV-Vis, FT-IR, MS, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectroscopy. The results obtained showed the curcumin analogs corresponded to the target molecules. The compounds were evaluated for their toxicity properties using the BSLT method. The results showed the compounds were toxic with LC50 values
