Tingkat Kebisingan Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Kota Pekanbaru Menggunakan Modifikasi Model Persamaan Nickson Dan Johnson
Pekanbaru city has a large population that increases every year along with the increasing number of vehicles. Increasing number of vehicles influence the traffic density therefore, gives higher on noise levels. Study on noise level at Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Pekanbaru has been done using modified model of Nickson and Johnson equation. Noise level was measured as a function of time and distance for 12 hours from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on April 16, 2017 to 29 April 2017. The measurements were conducted in front of the Grand Central Hotel Jalan Sudirman Pekanbaru. The noise level was measured by Sound Level Meter (SLM) the CEM (DT-8820) as a function of the number and speed of the vehicle that passed jalan Jenderal Sudirman especially in front of Grand Central Hotel. The results showed that noise level as a function of time using Nickson and Johnson model is 66.3 dB. This value is agree well with that of measured value that is 66.8 dB. Furtheremore, the results of this study also showed that based on the value of noise constant (C) in Nickson and Johnson model, one can predict the calculated values of noise level in jalan Jenderal Sudirman especially in front of Grand Central Hotel. The comparison of noise level based on SLM and model showed that at 13.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB and 16.00 WIB to 18.00 WIB, SLM the noise level has higher value that of the model. This is due to at these interval times, the number of vehicles that passed through measurement area consisted of more vehicles. The noise level at a distance of 40 meter is about 52,1 dB, it is recommended that public houses should be built beyond this distance.
