Pengaruh Karakteristik Perusahaan Terhadap Nilai Perusahaan Di Moderasi Oleh Struktur Good Corporate Governance (Perusahaan Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia 2012-2016)

This study aims to examine the direct influence of company characteristics represented by the variables of firm size, asset growth and sales growth on firm value, and indirect testing of moderating variables namely the structure of GCG represented by the variable (Internal Mechanism of GCG , External Mechanism of GCG, GCG Principles and GCG Functions) on their influence between company characteristics and firm value. Samples were taken using the purposive sampling method. The number of samples is 76 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. For the hypothesis testing method, the PLS (Partial Least Squere) method was used. The results showed that the variable characteristics of the company: (1) the size of the company (2) the asset growth and (3) sales growth has the positive significantly affects to the firm value.with vaue form R2 is 0,30. Whereas for indirect testing moderation variables show results that: (1) internal mechanisms can only strengthen the relationship between sales growth and firm value, but weaken the relationship between size and asset growth to firm value. (2) External mechanisms can strengthen the relationship between asset growth and sales growth to firm value, but weaken the relationship between firm size and firm value. (3) The principles of GCG can strengthen the relationship between asset growth and sales growth on the firm value, but weaken the relationship between the size of the company and the value of the company. (4) The function of GCG weakens the relationship between size, asset growth and company sales to company value. Subsequent research is suggested to use a different measuring instrument to find the influence of the GCG moderating variable between the characteristics of the company and the firm .
