This research entitled Effort Rokan Hilir Polres SATRESKRIM In disaster mitigation forest fires and land (Karhutla) in the Rokan Hilir. This research was conducted in the Rokan Hilir. The purpose of this study is to describe what kind of effort that run SATRESKRIM Polres Rokan Hilir in the implementation of disaster mitigation in the Rokan Hilir Karhutla. Focus of the research topics is what factors a barrier SATRESKRIM Polres Rokan Hilir in disaster relief in the Rokan Hilir Karhutla. Analysis of research problems using the theory of social control. The population in this research is the police who took part in the forest fire disaster management. Sampling done by the technique of purposive sampling. The author uses descriptive qualitative methods and data were analyzed qualitatively. Data instruments are observation, interview and documentation and terpimppin. The study found that the most appropriate efforts are applied in forest fire disaster relief effort is repressive. Repressive efforts is the greatest effort shows results for the prevention of forest burning and land illegally deterrent nature imparts and because of fear. Repressive efforts done by cracking down on fast burner land legally. One of the greatest constraints in forest fire disaster in Rokan Hilir is due to lack of disaster relief expert personnel in some fire-prone areas.
