Kemampuan Menulis Surat Resmi Siswa Kelas VII SMP YLPI P. Marpoyan Pekanbaru

This is a research discusses ability to write the official letters of class VII students of YLPI P. Marpoyan Junior High School Pekanbaru. The research aims to describe parts of the invitation letter for receipt of report cards, namely, head of letter, date of letter, munber of letter, attachment of letter, subject of letter, purpose of greeting, opening paragraph, contents of the letter,closing paragraph, closing greeting, letter sender and language letter. This research is quantative research. The data source of this research consisted of 2 classes with a population of 51 students and a sample of 49 students. The result of the study were obtained from the essay test writing a letter of invitation to receive report cards. The ability to write official letters of class VII high school students of YLPI Middle School P. Marpoyan Pekanbaru is high with an average of 84,25.
