Pengaruh Umur Pohon Entris Terhadap Persentase Keberhasilan Dan Pertumbuhan Sambung Pucuk Pada Tanaman Durian (Durio Zibethinus L.).
Seedlings are one of the main factors that determine the success of durian plants. One way that can be done to produce durian seedlings is by grafting, whose success is determined by the quality of the stem. For this reason, it is necessary to observe whether the entres derived from young plants and old plants will produce seeds that are just as good because of the difference in age of the durian entris tree. This study was to examine the differences in the success rate and growth of top grafted seedlings in durian plants using entris from 7 and year old entris trees. This research was carried out experimentally and the data were analyzed by T test with observational parameters namely shoot time, entris height, number of shoots, number of leaves, widest leaf area, stem diameter, finished joints, and percentage of normal seedlings. The results showed that the use of entris from 7 year old and 30 year old entris trees gave different rates of success and percentage of normal seedlings, but did not significantly for all growth parameters. The durian top seedlings that use the upper stem of the 7 years old mother trees provide a higher success rate and growth than durian top grafteed seedlings that use rootstock from the 33 years old entris tree.
