Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Dan Beban Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Perawat Dengan Motivasi Sebagai Variabel Intervening Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau
RSUD Arifin Achmad as the regional technical agency of the Riau Provincial Government in the field of health services is the only type B RSUD belonging to the Riau Provincial Government. As a business unit, Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province is required to improve the quality of its services. The demand for improving service quality must be followed by an increase in the professionalism of the workforce, including nursing staff. Therefore, the management of Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province must pay attention to the performance of nurses. The performance of nurses in nursing care is in accordance with professional practice standards that have been issued by the Indonesian National Nurses Association in 2000, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. The five components, if implemented properly by nurses, the goal of nursing care will be achieved. However, not all nurses can carry out their performance properly. There are several factors that influence nurses can not carry out tasks according to the standards set, among others, the number of non-nursing tasks that must be done by nurses, the limited number of nurses and so forth. According to the results of the audit of nursing performance at Arifin Achmad Hospital in 2016 the achievement of room nurses in carrying out nursing care is still not satisfactory. Nurses' performance at Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province is still low, so it becomes a problem that must be addressed immediately. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, workload, and motivation on the performance of nurses hospitalized at Arifin Achmad Hospital both directly and by motivated motivation.
This type of research is quantitative descriptive research, carried out at the Regional General Hospital Arifin Achmad, Riau Province, Pekanbaru. The time of the study began from October to December 2018. The population in this study were all nursing nurses who served in 22 inpatient rooms at Arifin Achmad Hospital, which numbered 487 people. The sampling method using the Slovin formula is 93 people by determining the distribution of respondents' distribution taken randomly and divided by proportionally based on the number of nurses implementing nursing in 22 inpatient rooms at Arifin Achmad Hospital. The data used are primary data through questionnaires. The analytical tool used is Path Analysis using the Multiple Regression Analysis method.
The results showed that direct leadership, employee workload, and motivation had a significant effect on nurse performance. Whereas indirectly leadership, and workload through motivation have a significant influence on nurse performance. Motivation is a very necessary variable because it can mediate the influence of leadership and workload on nurse performance, but motivation is not the only variable that can mediate the effect of workload on nurse performance.
