Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Dan Komunikasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan BRI Unit Cabang Rengat Dengan Komitmen Organisasi Sebagai Variabel Pemoderasi
Employee performance in general in BRI Branch Rengat work units and other work units has not been able to reach the desired standard. This is known based on the results of BRI Unit Branch Rengat's performance appraisal which have not been optimal and tend to decline. The decline in employee performance at BRI Branch Branch Rengat can be seen from various aspects, especially in the ignition of the Rengat Branch BRI BRI Work Program in 2017. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of leadership, communication, and organizational commitment on employee performance directly and the influence of leadership and communication which is moderated by organizational commitment.
This research is included in causal research using descriptive quantitative methods. The research was conducted at the BRI Branch Office in Rengat and in 12 other work units. The time of the study starts from October to November 2018. The population in this study were all BRI Branch Branch employees in Rengat and in 12 other work office units totaling 190 employees. The sampling method using the Slovin formula is 70 people. Determination of distribution of respondents' distribution was taken randomly and divided by proportion proportionally based on the number of employees at BRI Branch Rengat Unit and 12 other work units. The data used are primary data through questionnaires. The analytical tool used is Structural Partial Least Square (PLS) Analysis.
The results of the study show that firstly direct leadership has an influence on employee performance. Second, direct communication has no effect on employee performance. Third, organizational commitment directly influences employee performance. Indirectly organizational commitment has a moderating influence on leadership relationships with employee performance. Organizational commitment is a very needed variable because it can strengthen the influence of leadership on employee performance. Indirectly organizational commitment has a moderating influence on the relationship of communication with employee performance. Organizational commitment is a variable that is very much needed because it can strengthen the influence of communication on employee performance.
