Pemetaan Keterlibatan Masyarakat Dan Potensi Air Tanah Untuk Mitigasi Kebakaran Lahan Gambut Di Desa Rimbo Panjang Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau
Reducing the risk of forest fires that have a negative impact, it is very important to study and improve the patterns and practices of forest resource management and communities living around the forest. The pattern and practice of forest resource management and the community around the forest must be formulated in a forest fire prevention strategy. This study aims to: (i) explore information on land fire prevention and control efforts that have been carried out by the community and the Fire Care Community in Rimbo Panjang Village, Kampar District, Riau Province (ii) Knowing the potential availability of ground water on peat land at the site of land fires ; (3). Assess the peat firefighting system by making fire extinguishers quickly, precisely and accurately at the location of the fire.
Based on the analysis, it was obtained that efforts to prevent and control land fires that had been carried out by the community and the Fire Care Community group in Rimbo Panjang Village, Kampar District, Riau Province were (i) before the fire: Making water reservoirs (canal blocks, storage ponds, etc.) ; (ii) during fire: Look for water for fire suppression and (iii) after fire: Fire Law Enforcement.
Then the potential of groundwater availability obtained is 1066.167 m3 / day which can be used to extinguish fires in peatlands. The effort to get this water is by making fire extinguishers quickly, precisely and accurately at the fire location using a mobille water digger.
