Komposisi Hasil Tangkapan Jaring Tiga Lapis (Trammel Net) Di Perairan Palabuhanratu Sukabumi Jawa Barat

ABSTRAK
This research was conducted to determine the species that are the main catch and bycatch trammel net and the level of friendliness to the environment. This research was conducted in Palabuhanratu Sukabumi, West Java on November 26 to December 10, 2018. The purpose of this study was to identify and quantify the main catch and side tramel net fishing gear. The method used in this study is a survey method that is by going down directly in the field and observing the catch of trammel net fishing gear and collecting data on the number of catches, types of catches, and size of catches.
The main catch of trammel net during study were endavour shrimp and tiger shrimp, while the bycatch of trammel net are blue crab, swimming carbs, threadfins, purple-spotted bigeye, ornate thereadfin, red snappers, brown-marbled grouper, mackerel, winter flounder, slander scad, bigeye snapper, goldband goatfish, grunters, and croackers. The number of main catches was 23.7% with a total weight of 10,937 gr while the number of bycatches was 76.3% with a total weight of 35,240 gr. Trammel net fishing gear that is operated in Palabuharatu waters is an environmentally friendly but less selective fishing gear to catch the main catch in the form of shrimp.
