Respons Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq) Terhadap Aplikasi Kompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit Dan Pupuk Npkmg Di Lahan Ultisol

The aim of this research is to determine the exact dose of oil palm empty bunch (OPEB) compost and NPKMg fertilizer which produced the highest growth and yield of oil palm in Ultisol soil.The study suggestedeffect of composite oil palm empty bunches with cow manure (2:1(w/w)) and NPKMg (13:6:27:4) fertilizer that enriched with trace elements; boron, copper and zinc. The study used a completely randomized design 3 replications and consist of 6 levels : {P2,25/ controls (2,25 kg NPKMg);K10+P1,75 (10 kg OPEB compost + 1,75 kg NPKMg); K20+P1,5(20 kg OPEBcompost + 1,50 kg NPKMg); K30+P1,25(30 kg OPEBcompost+ 1,25 kg NPKMg); K40+P1(40 kg OPEBcompost + 10 kg NPKMg) and K50 (50 kg OPEB compost) per tree}. The parameters those observed:soil chemical characters(pH, organic C, total N, P-available, K-dd, Mg-dd, Ca-dd, Na-dd, CEC and BS), nutrient contents in leaves (N, P, K, Mg, Ca, B, Cu and Zn), chlorophyll contents,plant growth (rachis length, leaf length and leaf width),and average bunch weight.The data were analyzed by ANOVA (F test) andDNMRT 5%.
The results showed,application of doses 10; 20; 30; 40 and 50 kg OPEB compost/ tree, each combined with 1,75; 1.5; 1,25; 1,00 and 0 kg NPKMg fertilizer/ tree, have the same effect on the soil chemical characters (C-organic, total N, C/N, Al-dd + H-dd, P-available, K-dd, Mg-dd, Ca-dd, Na-dd and CEC, nutrient contents in leaves (N, P, K, Mg, Ca, B and Cu), chlorophyll contents, plant growth (rachis length, leaf length and leaf width),and average bunch weight compared to controls (2,25 kg NPKMg fertilizer/ tree). Aplication 50 kg of OPEB compost/tree increased soil pH. Aplicationsof 2,25 kgNPKMg, 50 kg TKKScompost, 20 kgcompost TKKS + 1,50 kg NPKMg and 30 kg compost TKKS + 1,25 kg NPKMg per tree increased base saturation. 18,54-22,06 kg/ bunch average bunch weight after application in all treatments is above the IOPRI standard.
