Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Dengan Kepuasan Kerja Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada Pt. Timah Tbk Prayun Kundur Kabupaten Karimun
This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at Timah Company Prayun Kundur, Karimun Regency. The population in this study were employees of Timah Company, amounting to 107 people. The sampling technique in this study uses the census method. So the sample in this study was 107 people. Data analysis techniques used the Path Analysis approach using SPSS (Statistical Program Society Science) version 23 for windows.
From the results of tests conducted note that work discipline and work motivation significantly influence employee job satisfaction at Timah Company Prayun Kundur, Karimun Regency. Then work discipline, work motivation and job satisfaction significantly influence employee performance at Timah Company Prayun Kundur, Karimun Regency. From the results of indirect testing it is known that work discipline and motivation affect employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at Timah Company Prayun Kundur, Karimun Regency.
Companies need to provide stimulation to employees to be able to improve employee discipline through providing incentives or rewards as well as establishing interpersonal communication between leaders and subordinates discussing employee problems or complaints that occur both inside and outside the company. Then also the company should provide opportunities for employees to develop themselves such as giving time to employees who want to improve their educational strata or expertise or by attending training or seminars that can improve employee performance.
