Pengembangan Handout Kimia Berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Dan Sikap Percaya Diri Peserta Didik Pada Materi Larutan Penyangga Di SMA/MA
The research that has been done is the research on the development of guided inquiry-based chemical solution buffer to improve students' creative thinking abilities and self-confidence. Research is motivated by the still limited teaching materials or learning tools that facilitate students in enriching experiences, building knowledge and activeness of students, and supporting students to formulate their own findings with confidence. The limitations of these learning tools will certainly affect the quality of learning, especially chemistry learning.
The purpose of this study is to develop a guided inquiry-based chemical handout on a valid buffer solution based on aspects of content suitability, language worthiness, presentation worthiness and graphic worthiness.
The research design uses research and development design with a 4-D development model. The 4-D development model has four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was only carried out until the development stage.
Data collection techniques in the form of validation sheets and questionnaire responses of teachers and students. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results showed an average percentage rating of three experts at 93% with a valid category. The results of trials to teachers and students each obtained an average percentage score of 94% and 86% in both categories. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the guided inquiry-based chemical handout on buffer solution material in SMA / MA that has been developed is suitable to be used as a learning handout.
The results of the calculation of descriptive statistical analysis shows that the category of increasing students' creative thinking ability based on the value of N-Gain is included in the medium category with a value of 32.43. The students' confidence after learning with the guided inquiry-based chemistry handout is very high with a percentage of 87%. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between creative thinking and self-confidence of students with a correlation value of 0.553. It can be said that the guided inquiry-based chemical solution handout can improve students' creative thinking abilities and self-confidence.
