Pengaruh Reward Dan Punishment Terhadap Kinerja Guru SMP Negeri Se Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Timur

This research aims to determine the influence of reward and punishment on the teachers perormance in state junior high school sub-District of Tebing Tinggi Timur consisting of 5 schools, as many as 31 teachers. this research uses a census sample technique that all population are samples. This research uses quantitative methods and data analysis uses multiple linear regression test. The results of the research that has been done can be concluded that the reward of teachears in state junior high school sub-district of tebing tinggi timur is in the law category (39%). Judging from the variable punishment of teachers in state junior high school sub-District of Tebing Tinggi Timur the category of very rare (42%). And teachers performance is in the moderae category (68%). Furthermore, the result of research on the influence of reward and punishment on the teachers performance in state junior high school sub-District of Tebing Tinggi Timur amounted to 0.204 or 20.4% while the remaining 79.6% factors not examined in this study. Based on the results of the research, the author will provide suggestions those are expected to provide benefits, namely for the school the results of this research can be a tool to improve teachers performance , and for others paries the results of this research expected to be one the references for further research.
