Produksi Selulosa Bakteri Dari Limbah Cair Sagu Menggunakan Fermentor Celup
The aims of research was to determine the length of time in the air exposed phase and the immersed phase in the medium in order to obtain maximum becterial cellulose yields. The research was carried out experimentally using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications to obtain 15 experimental units. The treatment in the research were ratio between time of exposure to air and immersion in media such as Wuc1 (15 s : 15 s), Wuc2 (30 s : 15 s), Wuc3 (45 s : 15 s), Wuc4 (60 s : 15 s), and Wuc5 (75 s : 15 s). The obtained data were statistically tested by using Analysis of Variance. If Fcalculate is higher than or equal to Ftable, the analysis was continued by using DNMRT test at 5% level. The analysis of variance showed that the production of bacterial cellulose sago liquid waste using a dip fermenter did not significantly affect the parameters of dry weight, water content and total sugar content, but significantly affected the thickness, wet weight, and yield. The treatment chosen in this study was Wuc2 (30 s: 15 s) which had 0.084 cm thickness, 10.968 gr wet weight, 0.018 gr dry weight, 1.096% yield, 99.84% moisture content, and 2.01% total sugar content.
