Metode Chebyshev Untuk Menyelesaikan Persamaan Diferensial Orde Dua Nonlinear
This final project discusses the application of the Chebyshev’s method to
solve a nonlinear second order differential equation with boundary conditions.
The Differential equations are discretized by finite difference methods
to produce a nonlinear system. Furthermore, the nonlinear system is solved by
the Chebyshev’s method. Computational tests are performed to see the convergence
rate of the proposed method then it is compared to Newton’s method
with the help of Matlab. From the computational results it can be seen that
the Chebyshev’s method is faster in obtaining the solutions compared to the
Newton’s method.
