Pemanfaatan Pati Biji Durian (Durio Zibethinus Murr.) Sebagai Bahan Dasar Pembuatan Bioplastik Dengan Variasi Konsentrasi Gelatin Sebagai Rancangan Modul Pada Materi Bioteknologi Kelas XII SMA
This research aims to find out the appropriate gelatin concentration on bioplastic characteristics made from durian seed starch and produce module designs on biotechnology material in class XII SMA. This research was conducted at the Biology Education Laboratory of FKIP and the Laboratory of Chemistry FMIPA UNRI from April to August 2019. This research was carried out in 2 stages: the experimental stage: making bioplastics from durian seed starch by adding variations in the concentration of gelatin and the module design stage: analysis of the module design potential on biotechnology materials in class XII high school. This study used an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replications. The parameters in this research are bioplastic density, bioplastic water absorption and biodegadability test. Based on the analysis of Variance (ANAVA) at 5% level, the addition of gelatin affects bioplastic characteristics, which can increase the value of bioplastic density (0.168 g / cm3), reduce bioplastic water absorption (13.49%) and can accelerate bioplastic degadation from durian seed starch (12 days completely degraded). While based on the analysis of the potential of the research results can be used as a module design in biotechnology material class XII SMA in KD 3.10.
