Rancang Bangun Struktur Rangka Tricopter Sebagai Platform Yang Akan Diintegrasikan Pada Wahana Terbang Atha Mapper 2150
Tricopter is a kind of multicopter that has privileges in total mass, volume and energy consumption. In order to make Atha Mapper 2150 has the ability to Vertical Take off and Landing, an integration between tricopter and Atha Mapper 2150 is needed. Due for that, this research designed a tricopter structure that able to carry Atha Mapper under 6 kg MTOW. The research is started by literature study in order to understand the concept of the research topic. Then, the Design Requirement and Objective (DRO) process is done based on the mission that enable Atha Mapper 2150 to do Vertical Take off and Landing. The design is made by using Solidworks software with Carbon Fiber as the main material. Next, static structure simulation is done by using ANSYS 16.0 software on tricopter structure to know the maximum stress, total deformation, and safety factor. The structure has maximum stress of 54.126 MPa, total deformation of 10.335 mm, and safety factor of 8.77. Next, an experimental deflection test is done to validate the simulation test results. The result of the experimental deflection test show the vector displacement is close to the simulation result in every sample point.
