Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction (ARCS) Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Pokok Bahasan Laju Reaksi Di Kelas XI MIA 1 SMAN 7 Pekanbaru
The research about Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction (ARCS) learning model has been done in SMAN 7 Pekanbaru. The purpose of study is to improve learning motivation of learners on the subject of rate of reaction in class XI science 1 SMAN 7 Pekanbaru. The type of research is classroom action research which is done collaboratively where the researcher and the chemistry teacher work together during the learning process. The subject of this research is the students of XI science 1 SMAN 7 Pekanbaru while the object of this research is student’s learning motivation. The researcher did data collection technique by distributing the motivation questionnaire sheet that consist of 20 questions. The data that collected on the implementation of the action were analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques to see the tendency that happen in the learning activity. Based on the result of this research is found that the average of percentation result after the implementation of ARCS learning model is 74% in cycle I which is include to high category and then increased to 85% in cycle II which is include to very hight category. This result shows that the action is succed and the cycle is stopped.
