Potensi Variasi Ampas Tapioka Sebagai Media Pertumbuhan Jamur Agen Hayati Trichoderma Sp. Pne4 Isolat Lokal Riau
Trichoderma has been reported as a bio-control agent that effectively controlled the soil borne pathogens. Tapioca waste, corn and bran are alternative growth media that allow for the growth of Trichoderma sp. The objective of this study is to find out the growth of Trichoderma sp. PNE4 Riau local isolates in several growth media. Growth media test Trichoderma sp.PNE4 Riau local isolate was perfomed in vitro using completely randomized program (CRD). Growth media used are tapioca waste (P1), tapioca waste and bran (P2), tapioca waste and corn (P3), tapioca waste, bran and corn (P4), and Potato dextrose agar (P0) as a control. The results showed that the growth of isolate diameter was the same in all media except for TDJ (7,95 cm). Low colony growth may not necessarily produce fewer spores. Tapioca waste media (P1) has the most number of Trichoderma sp. PNE4 spore (17,56 x 109 /ml) and colony characteristics was dense. A decrease in pH occurs in all media P0, P2, P3, and P4 except tapioka waste (P1). Tapioca waste can be used as an alternative medium for the growth and sporulation of Trichoderma sp. PNE4.
