This final project discusses the making of online absentee authentication Application Department of Computer Science University of Riau based Location based service. This application is based on Location Based Service (LBS) which is a location-based service and accessed via mobile device (Smartphone, etc.) and assisted by GPS to track coordinates that have been polygon. Users can perform online attendance if it is in a location that has polygon if the user outside the polygon area then the user failed to attend. The purpose of this LBS application to facilitate lecturers or users in the absence without having to commute back to the bureau to perform fingerprint or manual attendance. This application uses MySQL as database and PHP as programming language.
