Abstract: The aim of this research is 1) to know the method of playing word with apron can improve the language ability of children at the age of 4-5 years at Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten Kecamatan Limapuluh Kota Pekanbaru 2) to know the word play method with apron ability of language language of children at age 4- 5 years in Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten Kecamatan Limapuluh Kota Pekanbaru, and 3) to know the big improvement of language ability of child at age 4-5 years at Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten Kecamatan Limapuluh Kota Pekanbaru by using word play method with apron. The subjects in this study were 4 to 5 year olds who were in grade A 2, with the number of 15 children in Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten Kecamatan Lima Puluh Kota Pekanbaru. Type of research used PTK (Classroom Action Research). Based on the results of the study showed that 1) the ability of the language of children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten budak nation fifty towns Pekanbaru can be increased through the method of playing guess words with aprons, 2) application of apron guess guess for children in kindergarten Tunas Bangsa District Limapuluh Kota Pekanbaru is made by the author in a classroom action research conducted by the author. This method is very helpful in improving children's ability to speak well, 3) improving children's language skills through the game apron guess the word for age 4-5 years in Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten Kecamatan Limapuluh Kota Pekanbaru.adalah 91.30% in cycle II.
